What is a Homeshield
The Homeshield is an object sold in the game shop designed to protect your home land, creating a peaceful environment for Bloodhunt players. It prevents any form of attack by the game HUD within the land for a limited time, affecting the entire region regardless of divided parcels.
Duration
The default protection period provided by the Homeshield is 4 weeks from the time of activation. Once this time expires, the protection will no longer be active unless prolonged.
How to use it
To activate the Homeshield, simply rez it on the ground of your home land and deed it to the land group (if applicable). After doing so, touch the object to activate it. The Homeshield will then disappear, fusing with the land to protect it for the next 4 weeks.
Homeshield Menu
You can manage your Homeshield through the game HUD's preferences. The menu provides information about your current Homeshield and allows you to turn it on/off or terminate it if necessary.
How to Prolong Duration
If you wish to extend the protection duration of your Homeshield, rez another one on your currently protected land and touch it. This will add to the remaining time of the existing Homeshield.
Move Private Home to a New Region
If you decide to relocate your private home to a new region, you will need to either wait for the current Homeshield to expire or manually terminate it through the Homeshield menu before being able to protect your new home.
Super Player
As a Super Players, you gain the ability to activate a second Homeshield, allowing you to protect a secondary private home.
Note
The Homeshield can only be used by its owner. The owner must be wearing their game HUD and either own the land or hold the officer role in the land group to activate the object.
