What is the out of character feature?
This feature allows you to go out-of-character during 4 hours.
While in OOC state you are invulnerable to attacks but cannot use the game HUD until you come back in-character.
It was designed to let you take a break from the game and focus on other activities in second life.
It costs 0.1 essence to activate once per day. And can be renewed for a fee in Linden at the game shop.
Super Players also benefit from a perk that allows them to activate it further more free of charge during the day.
How does it work?
- Navigate to your HUD preferences menu.
- Click OOC: Start to go out-of-character.
- Click OOC: Stop to comeback in-character.
Notes
- OOC texture will appear over the game HUD when you are out-of-character.
- Being out-of-character will not protect you from the nightly hunger/thirst loss at midnight.
