Overview
Territories is a challenging game mode where clans compete for control over lands and increase their popularity across the grid.
They will have to engage in battles to claim and defend their territories.
How It Works
The domination process consists of three (3) phases:
- Neutralizing: In this initial phase, you must reduce the domination force of a territory until it becomes neutral.
- If a territory is already dominated by others, it will gradually transition from being dominated to neutral as time passes while you stand upon it.
- A progress bar will indicate the force of domination, showing you how close you are to making it neutral.
- Capturing: Once the territory is neutral, you can then proceed to capture it for your clan.
- When a territory is neutral you can plant a capture flag, marking your intention to claim it for your clan. The progress bar will then shift from red to green as you proceed.
- At 100% the territory will belong to your clan, granting valuable bonuses to all its members. However, your task does not end there. Now comes the domination phase.
- Dominating: This phase reinforces the domination force, making it challenging for others to capture.
- To solidify your hold on the territory, you must continue to increase its domination force by spending more time on it.
Note:
- Upon successfully capturing a territory, a magical shield will temporarily protect it during one (1) hour, preventing others from planting a new flag.
- It is indicated by a shield icon on your game HUD. However, once the shield dissipates, everyone will be able to attempt capturing the territory.
Advantages
Dominating territories not only makes your clan popular but also grants its members with unique benifits such as:
- +10% Attack Damage.
Prerequisite
- You must belong to a clan to participate in Territories.
- Enabling RLV in your viewer is necessary to unlock the capture ability.
Notes
- Territories is turned off by default, to activate it and have access to this game mode you must trigger it in your HUD preferences.
- Flying during the capture/domination process will halt the progress, stay grounded to avoid that.
- The amount of flags that can be planted is limited to three (3) per day. You can check remaining flags by using your Territory Scan ability.
- A player can plant one flag per territory at a time. Planting a new flag in a different territory will cancel the previous one.
- The player who plants the capture flag must remain within the territory and stay 10-meters close. Otherwise, the progress will come to a halt.
- Allies can help increase the progress by standing close, within the capture zone indicated in the minimap.
- Players who attempt to neutralize a capture must remain within 10-meters range around the flag till it goes down to 0%.
- A conqueror cannot plant a new flag on a territory that already has a planted flag and its planter is still around. They must, first, defeat them, or chase them out.
- When the flag planter is defeated during a territory capture, If the opponent is the territory dominator, the flag is then destroyed immediately.
- Otherwise, the flag will be stolen and used right away to capture the territory.
- The damage buff applies over territories that belong to your clan.
- After planting a flag, if not used to capture the territory it will expire in 24-hours.
- Upon lowering a clan domination to ZERO the territory will still belong to them, until someone else plants a capture flag.
- If a territory is not regularly visited, its domination force will gradually decrease, till it belongs back to mortals.
Rules and Fairplay
To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all within this game mode, certain rules must be adhered to:
- The use of alters or bots, which are alternate accounts controlled by the same player, to grind capture flags, or take advantage on neutralizing others territories is forbidden.
- The use of third-party HUDs such as followers, pushers or freezers is prohibited.
Violation of these rules will result in consequances such as temporary restrictions that might affect your access to certain functionalities or a permanent ban from the game system.
Remember to play fair, enjoy the game, and have fun!
System Notifications
The following are notifications that players will receive in their local chat and are triggered on specific situations:
- When planting a capture flag, if the territory you attempt to capture is dominated by a clan, a global notification is sent to all players with a landmark leading to the territory.
- There will be no global notification when planting a flag on a territory that is not dominated by a clan.
Leaderboard
A leaderboard is available where you can track your progress and see where you stand among other conquerors.
Releasing a Territory
- Clan leaders can release territories they control by visiting Lucius.
- Releasing a territory costs 1 Essence.
- By speaking to Lucius you can select the Release Territory option and enter the name of the territory you wish to relinquish. Once confirmed, the territory will be removed from your clan dominion.
Clan Transfer / Fusion
- When a clan is transferred into or merged with another clan, all territories previously dominated by that clan are relinquished.
- These territories do not transfer ownership and are instead returned to mortal control.
- As a result, the resulting clan must reclaim any territories if it wishes to re-establish dominance in those regions.
Progress rates
These values determine how quickly a territory is captured, defended, reinforced or decayed.
| Rate | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Capture Rate | 2.0% / 30s | Speed at which you take control of a neutral or enemy territory. |
| Counter Capture Rate | 2.4% / 30s | Speed at which attackers reduce domination force. |
| Domination Rate | 3.0% / 30s | Speed at which a controlled territory regenerates its domination when visited. |
| Domination Decay | 3.0% / Day | Speed at which a territory domination force is reduced over time. |
Leveling System
The Territory Leveling System allows clans to strengthen the territories they control by contributing resources. As a territory gains experience, it increases in level and unlocks powerful perks that benefit the controlling clan.
Territories are not static. They grow when fed, decay over time, and can be taken over by rival clans.

Territory Capture
- When a territory falls into enemy hands, the struggle leaves its mark.
- The process of capture disrupts the land’s stability, weakening the progress it once held. While not entirely lost, part of its accumulated strength is diminished in the conflict.
- As a result, a portion of the territory EXP may decrease, its level can decline depending on remaining EXP, and some of its benefits may fade until its new dominator restore what was shaken.
This means:
- High-level territories remain valuable targets
- Newly captured territories may require reinforcement to maintain their level
Abandoned Territories
- When abandoned to mortals, a territory retains its current EXP and level. However, it is no longer maintained and will begin to decay over time.
- A fixed amount of EXP is lost each day, which may cause the territory to lose levels and deactivate associated perks.
- This decay continues until the territory reaches its base state (Level 1 with 0 EXP).
