How to play

Patch 0.8.7

Bug Fixes & improvements

  • Clan Book: Fixed a bug on clan merging and clan dissolving successfully releasing territory domination but not conqueror record.

Quests – Resource Collection Logic

  • Improvement: When collecting common resources for a quest, the items now also go to the game inventory.
  • Previously: Resources went only to the quest inventory, leaving players empty-handed after gathering.
  • Now: Players keep what they gather, making quests more rewarding and consistent with the rest of the game.
  • Note: Special items or artifacts still go to quest inventory only, as intended.

Gathering Quest Display Fix

  • Fix: Resource quests (mining, logging, gathering) now display the correct amount (+1) being added to the quest.
  • Previously: It showed the full yield from your gathering skill (e.g., +3) even though only 1 counted.
  • Now: Display reflects what’s actually added to the quest, while full yield still applies outside of quests.

Blacksmithing - Equipment Repairing

  • New Feature: Players can now repair their own equipment at the anvil.
  • Requirement: Requires 100% Blacksmithing skill to unlock the ability.
  • Previously: Equipment repairs were only available through Orik, the NPC for 1 Essence per repair.
  • Now: Master blacksmiths can restore their gear independently.
  • Check this documentation for more details about the required materials by hovering over each item.

Revive After Death

  • New Option: Slain players can now revive by visiting Nira, the Soulbinder NPC.
  • Cost: Requires Essence for revival.
  • Previously: Players had to use the cemetery altar, where an active player had to assist, sacrificing a percentage of blood and 1 Essence (if the daily free revive token was used).
  • Now: Nira provides an alternative revival method, removing the need to wait for another player’s help.
  • Check this documentation for more details about death in the game.

Bounty System - Clearing a bounty

  • New Feature: Players can now clear bounties on their heads by visiting Lucius.
  • Cost: Requires paying the full bounty amount in Essence.
  • Previously: Bounties could only be removed by being hunted down.
  • Now: Lucius, an entity with the right connections, offers a way to erase your bounty—if you can pay the price.
  • Check this documentation for more details about the bounty system.

Combat - Region Crossing & Data Consistency

  • Improvement: Combat history and statistics will now persist when crossing into a neighboring region.
  • Previously: Entering a new region reset combat data, causing inconsistencies in tracking battles. This led to cases where a player’s kill didn’t count toward achievements like Bloodlust if the fight started in one region and ended in another.
  • Now: The system detects if a player is entering a neighboring region and maintains combat history, ensuring fair and reliable tracking of PvP engagements.
  • Impact: Achievements and battle outcomes will now be recorded accurately, making combat history more consistent across region transitions.

Territories System - Releasing a Territory

  • New Feature: Clan leaders can now release territories they control by visiting Lucius.
  • Cost: Releasing a territory costs 1 Essence.
  • How it works: Clan leaders can speak to Lucius and select the "Release Territory" option, entering the name of the territory they wish to relinquish. Once confirmed, the territory will be removed from their clan dominion.
  • Previously: There was no option for clans to voluntarily give up control over territories. Once a territory was claimed, it remained under their control unless lost through combat or not visited over weeks.
  • Now: Leaders can strategically release territories to shift focus or free up space for more valuable regions.

Beta - Deathmatch

  • Now Open for Testing: The Deathmatch game mode is available again through the Beta HUD.
  • PvP Battles: Engage in instanced combat across 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4 categories.
  • Beta Menu: Now accessible in your Game HUD Preferences.
  • In the Beta Menu, You Can:
    • Request the latest Beta HUD (if available).
    • Join an active beta test (if available).
    • Access beta-specific features, such as matchmaking, team setup, and more.
